Orchids

Those who follow my journal will know that I was disappointed when a planned orchid walk was rained off last weekend. However, the leader of Saturday's Nature walk told me where I could find some - so I picked up my camera and walked across the road to the cemetery and there they were - loads of them!! O.K. I only found the common spotted orchid but there were just so many of them - and right on my doorstep!! I also saw a green woodpecker, a spotted woodpecker, and lots of other smaller birds. I can see myself spending more time in the cemetery with my camera!!
