5 of 22 - A disastrous expedition

This evening, in my wisdom, I decided to drag my long suffering other half out on a photographic mission. My idea was to capture the Runcorn bridge in its lit up splendour. However, it isn't lit up anymore. So after my beloved driving me on a 50 mile round trip and collecting 22 photos, most of which are rubbish, this is the only one that I felt I could post! And only because of the starburst effect on the street lamp - the one redeeming feature!

Even the moon eluded me tonight - it was low, and yellow and fabulous and every time we stopped, it went into hiding. Ah well, there's always tomorrow.
