Yellow Flags #2

At Easter I went to Acorn Bank for the first time with Chippy. I saw this small pond and knew I would go back again to blip the Yellow Flag irises.

It was a lovely day when my alarm went off at 6am. It was still sunny when Chippy came to collect me at 7.30am however before we got there the sky was overcast.

Unfortunately there weren't as many flowers open as I had hoped for but this was a nice place to be sitting on a bench, drinking tea from a flask and chatting. It was a relaxing way to start the day, cup in one hand and remote release in the other, just in case the light improved.
