Magnificent Desolation.

The disused and vandalised lighthouse on the tip of the Western Harbour Breakwater at Newhaven; a relic of an earlier age of navigation, resting on a base of scabbled ashlar.

The derelict land around it has finally been turned into a small park as part of the Platinum Point residential development, but the enervating gale-force winds lashing the area today precluded any exploration on my part.
