After The Rain
Another damp and miserable start here in South Wales, but finally, just after lunch, the murk and mist lifted, and we have blue skies ... just in time for me to go back to work!
The garden has come back to life after a day of nothing. All those insects, bees and butterflies that have been hunkered down after the rain, were finally able to get airborne and able to feed.
A rejected this photograph of a Tortishell Butterfly, I am banking on there being more in the garden in the weeks to come!
I settled on this drone fly, simply because the composition was much better.
It would be nice if we could have a week or so of summer now! Enough of this cold!
