Govan Cross Market

Fablevision Studios had a stall selling Govan High Centenary DVDs at the Govan Cross Market which was part of the Govan Cross Opening Ceremony.

Here we have some of the volunteers we had working at the stall in between filming the ceremony which included Govan High dancers, primary school choir and a fashion show from the charity Starter Packs Glasgow. There was the cutting of the ribbon for the John Aitken Memorial Fountain which had been renovated and reunited with the baby figurine that sits in the middle of the fountain. The baby figurine was once lost but turned up as a statue in someone's garden.

It was a great day with many people in attendance.
