Cast Iron Capital on doorway at Hale station

The main entrance is a simple doorway with a cast iron pillar on either side, each topped with an ornate capital. I don't use the station but have walked and driven passed it for more than 20 years and this morning, for the first time, I walked along with "my eyes open" and saw these pillars and their capitals.
