Kiss
Not quite Robert Doisneau's famous "Kiss by the Hotel de Ville" but rather two moorhens raising their family. Mrs Moorhen stayed squarely on the nest as Mr Moorhen swam hither and thither gathering twigs and leaves for the nest.
Trouble was, he'd done such a good job Mrs Moorhen was now raised quite substantially above the waterline. Only by stretching with every feather could he reach her beak to pass her yet more material.
Shot during a lunchtime walk by the Water of Leith.
