A Bowl of Shells

Horrible weather today - I'm glad that I got my walk to the marsh in early yesterday, because it's just been rainy and miserable all weekend. I was planning a walk around Deer Island today, but I decided against it. Cleaned the kitchen instead :)

I've wanted to do still lifes (why does that sound wrong) for quite some time, and today seemed to be a good day to give it a try. These are moonsnails that I've collected on the beach with the intention of photographing them some day. Well, moonsnails, this is your day.
