Living up to her name

A song sparrow, sitting on a limb and singing her heart out.

(It could be a him instead of a her, but the singing is just as sincere!)

Weather report:

Yesterday we were told to expect rain. We didn't get any, and the temperature was perfect for our annual street sale. I was too busy to go out blipping so I missed a day in my journal.

Today dawned chilly and grey and stayed that way until late afternoon. The sun finally came out right after our children and grandchildren arrived for a family pizza party and walk in the park. It's been a really nice day.
