Generation game

Hello again.

I've been away for a while. Between work, hospital visits and a trip to London it's been kinda hectic. Normal service will resume, I promise!

Work continues to be gash. The project I was on was canned (not because of anything we've done, they've just run out of money) so I'm back on the bench - not a good place to be considering the recent sackings. Anyway, I'm busy sourcing another contract, either within my current employer, but also on the outside. Fingers crossed etc.

Health-wise not much change there either. My lump still has no definite diagnosis, despite echo's and MRI's. Next wednesday I'm back in the hospital for a biopsy, with the result of that following the week after.

Today's Blip comes from my parent's visit. We've not seen them for over a month, so today was a happy occasion! The kids were keen to show off the Wii, and both Mum and Dad proved suprisingly good at it, despite the fact that both of them are pretty techno-blind.

This blip is of my dad holding something I never thought I'd ever see him hold!
