Lazy blip

It's the end of the weekend and for once I am looking forward to the week for a rest. Not because I have a restful week coming up but because the weekend hasn't really been. It's been okay and I'd probably give it a 7/10 which is far from a terrible score, it's just that hosting the in-laws has taken a lot out of both of us, even the one for whom they are not in-laws. That one has just commented, "well done us for holding it together". Especially with a lot of well meaning but slightly erratic DIY. C's father is not nicknamed Frank Spencer for nothing. But now I feel mean as he has worked really hard for almost two days and lots of little neglected jobs have been seen to. And we'd needed to get a plumber round anyway.

Anyway, after a final game of cards we have retired to bed for a catch-up of two days worth of papers. Not an original blip but a welcome sight and worth a revisit.
