White Rhinoceros

Nienke and Inge had been somewhat edgy the last couple of days. They were screaming and shouting without any cause really and Martine and I noticed we weren't responding that well to it either. Some family fun was needed to restore the balance so we went to the Zoo in Emmen.

And lots of fun we had! And equally important: the girls were doing great together. No screaming, shouting or complaining. A great day. The only down side was that Ellis developed a fever and slept throughout most of the day. Interesting enough, she came back to life on the way back. The fever went away and she was doing a lot better. Once in bed, Nienke and Inge fell asleep instantly while Ellis was happily singing, chatting and playing in her bed. After an hour or so, she fell asleep too.

I was spoiled for choice too considering what to blip today: I took lots of shots of the animals and the girls. I liked this image best, especially the reflections of both the rhino and the sky. A bit of Dutch Skies...
