Tate St Ives

This is an installation at Tate St Ives by the 2001 Turner Prize Winner, Martin Creed, titled "Work No. 210 Half the air in a given space 1999 (Installation in 2011)"

It's hundreds of balloons that take up half the volume of air in one of the galleries. As viewers, you can immerse youself in these balloons - sort of fun but you can be overwhelmed by them and claustrophobia can hit. There was lots of static and crazy electrified hair.

My sort of claim to fame (if you're into contemporary art and give a monkey's nib nobs about the Turner Prize) is that I have recently met Martin Creed. I was responsible for making sure that all his requirements were met when giving a lecture at the university college where I work.
