Off to the CATS today
Spent the afternoon at the Critics' Awards for Theatre in Scotland (CATS) 2011 at the Festival Theatre, Edinburgh, and it was great.
Here is a photo of Cora Bissett (left) whose directed 'Roadkill' which won best production, along with Mercy Ojelade, who won the Best Female Performance.
Roadkill is about the enforced trafficking of a girl from Africa to Glasgow, who is then forced into prostitution.
Here is a link to the Guardian review from last years's Edinburgh Fringe. The play is coming to the Fringe again this year for a week before going to the London Barbican.
