Look out! They're Behind You!!

Went to check on the puffins this afternoon and was delighted to find that the rock that they breed on was covered in them! Looked like most of the tunnels were probably occupied.

There was a man photographing them from the opposite side of the gully to where I was and I thought that he made a good blip! Of course he knew that there were some behind him and he had been taking photos of them but this blip shows him looking at the main colony with his great big gigantic lens!! Can only imagine and dream of the quality of image he gets with that thing!

If you want to see the main colony and where the man is sitting click here. The man is the wee dark blob on the green pyramid about a quarter way down from the top of the right hand side. the main colony is the the greyer pyramid to the right - all that burrowing has destroyed most of the grass!
