Alzheimer's unit

For the past couple months, I have visited John here. He is from my church but I only know him of late. I feared that I was wasting his time and my own. Seldom did he even act as if I was present. A friend suggested I read the Bible to him. I started of course with the book of John. I just left our weekly meeting. No big miracles. He listened. So did the rest of the folks in the dayroom. One even came over to join hands in The Lord's Prayer. I guess the miracle was in me. To have faith that were I go I can make a difference. I can be a little of Jesus if I try.
