Green greens

Cycled out to Newbourne this morning to buy vegetables from the side of the road.

Newbourne is the perfect place to do this. A land-settlement village in the Depression, most of the veg for sale is still grown in the fields/glasshouses nearby. (Which makes the purchase by bike a practically carbon-free transaction).

This stall has an honesty box - sadly it also now has CCTV and every so often they post a list of dishonest number-plates.


Imagine being so mean you would drive into the country-side to steal vegetables!
