Sick of Being Sick

Part of Megan's treatment is to walk slow laps around the hospital wing to encourage lung expansion.

I took her for a few loops, part of which takes us through the highest level of the Intensive Care Unit.

As soon as we passed through the doors I expected to be met with a flurry of beeping monitors and bustling doctors-but we were met with something much more troubling: complete and utter silence. The sound of sadness, I guess.
