"Up the Irons!"

This is a home made birthday card with an Iron Maiden ticket in it!

Wow, another great present. When I was a kid/teenager I loved Maiden! I still love that era of them and it's definitely a marker for me. Probably not very cool I know but I know what I like.

Last year my mate Dave and I were talking about a shared love of all things Maiden at this time of our lives and wouldn't It be great if we could see them again. A pretty normal conversation for two blokes of our age to be honest.
We had both seen numerous shows up to the age of around 18 or so. Last time I saw them was in Edinburgh in 1989.

And.... Well, we are going. Some coincidence eh? I can almost hear the groans of "midlife crisis" being muttered by you all. Teehee. Don't care ha ha ha.

Not only that but he made the card featuring my "coupon" as a replacement for cyber Eddie!

Can't wait for it. We have the day planned. Into town for pub tea and couple of pints. Gig then off for a few drinks agin after. Dave has already booked the day off work for the day after.

It's going to be great fun, guaranteed.
