Windermere Lake & Gummer's How

Gummer's How is the hill at the S end of Windermere.

I had tried some long exposure shots down by the shore.

The variable ND filter I bought a while ago is pants!
An horrendous red colour-cast and some sort of reflection from the sensor or something.

Not sure what.

But it's definitely not the best £20 I've spent!

Looks like the old saying "Buy cheap - Buy twice!" is true then.

Looks like I'll have to save up for a decent one.
