you crazy scots and your crazy food

shamelessly jumped on blip burns bandwagon after feeling unsatisfied by the day's blipping -

photos of edinburgh in the sun which failed to do justice to the beauty of the day/place;

and a photo of carpet biter1's straightened hair after a trip to the hairdresser (she usually has a mass of blonde ringlets and loves the novelty of straight hair once every few months..today she discovered that people with straight hair don't wet their hair before they brush it. she thought that was very strange)

the day started well when the alarm went off at 5.20 after carpetbiter2 had been mucking about with the parental clock. we were all set to get out of bed and wake everyone up but luckily stopped long enough to check the time..

a fine trip to edinburgh for work which left me tired but professionally satisfied...
