Spectacular View??

According to the agent's marketing material for the developer of my parents' flat executive appartment, this is a "spectacular view of the Kip Marina and River Clyde." They just never quite got round to doing anything about removing the trees that block the view described and, as they are on private property, there is nothing that can be done.

My parents bought this flat a decade ago and in the winter you can almost see through the trees and just about catch a glimpse of the river but no chance the rest of the year. Why is it that developers and estate agents get a bad name, eh??

At least today, I couldn't determine that it was throwing it down for most of the afternoon.
