On Wednesday I am off to Turkey for a couple of days of business then C will join me in Istanbul when we start our summer hols.

It's a very well known fact that I am obsessed with all fings Turkish. Here is a small selection of my books. I know you're shouting at the screen for my recommendation so Portrait of a Turkish Family by Irfan Orga is very good.

The one here debating Turkey and the Armenian Genocide is not recommended beach reading.

And no I don't like Orhan Pamuk's books very much so I lied when I said all fings Turkish. Oh I don't like Raki either.
