Waterpoort

We continued on our visits of friends and family in the Netherlands. First we paid a visit to one of our best friends and after that we went to my parents in IJlst. After visiting my parents we drove to Sneek to quickly buy some last things for Athens.

This is a shot of the Waterpoort or water gate, a historic city gate in a defensive wall for people who wanted to enter the city via the water. Here is the shot of the other side that ArtistAnnie took recently.

We are staying this with my boyfriend's parents who live in Makkum. Tonight we are off to friends in Bolsward. More family visits tomorrow! :)
