Beach life

Swimming season started early this year. Really, I'm not feeling comfortable at this particular crowded lakeside beach. You need some extra eyes to follow the kids who all enjoy water very much. And the water gets muddy quickly making it impossible to follow anybody who's under water. Unfortunately, there's been some sad accidents here, like last year. I've actually refused to take them here without a second adult.

But it was the kids' request this afternoon. They enjoy the crowd, the bright hot sun and the sandy beach that's perfect for digging (forgot the shovels).

Can't blame them.
