Deborah and Josh

It's a Scottish Saturday afternoon, but Deborah and Josh have just walked for two and a half hours to travel from Edinburgh to Dalkeith for a picnic that was rained off.

Are they downhearted? Never.

Deborah is just completing her exams to be a vet; Josh is the consummate handyman - can it seems undertake any project and deliver a great job.

They are setting off soon to walk the West Highland Way. Then when they return they will pack up and head off back home to Canada - and that will be the end of two wonderful years spent with them. I will be very sad. They are truly lovely people, and a credit to Canada.
