Mussels in the garden again
Our favourite way of eating mussels is always the way we're eating them today, so today this is our favourite. Steamed in their own juices with some thyme over the flames of a wood fire in the garden first, drained once they were all open and then I added some tomato sauce made earlier (on the gas hob in the kitchen) with red wine and chorizo. I added some chopped oregano and garlic at the table. Red wine to drink with it.....now it's time for a siesta!
