Glenelg

Adelaide - Day 13

Glenelg is to Adelaide as Brighton is to London. It's a handy 35 minute tram ride away from the city centre.

This was happening when I got there today. A race involving sprinting down the beach, jumping into a motor dinghy and piloting it around a buoy about 200 metres offshore. Then back to the beach, out of the dinghy, and a sprint to the finish line.

Not sure if this sport has a name, but it looks really good fun.
