Tranquility

Today offered crystal clear skies and not a breath of wind so it was with a light heart that I stepped out for a walk. It was just so peaceful. The tide was low and I stood mesmerised by the stillness of the water. Then I spotted the lone bird hunting for food in the shallows. I took several shots but chose this one to publish as I felt it best reflected my feelings about the day. I think the rocks in the bottom right help to convey the simplicity of the scene so I left them in the picture.
