The Sky Tower

This is Auckland's main icon - in all the skylines it's there. It doesn't actually do much except have a restaurant, changes colour, and has wires you can abseil down from. I still get a bit of a shock and thrill everytime I see it, as it reminds me we're in Auckland now.

Deane has just told me that it's called The Sky Tower for a reason - it's owned by Sky and the black circle inbetween the grey ones near the bottom of this picture of the tower houses lots of computers - shows how much I know!
