Sitting Tight

Went to St John's pool bird hide tonight with some friends and had a great time spotting all the birds. The black headed gull chicks are growing up fast, the arctic terns seem to be sitting on eggs and this oyster catcher appeared to be sitting tight on some eggs as well.

Beautiful evening with daylight that will hardly fade now that we are less than 2 weeks from mid-summer.
