Cotton Thistle, Onopordum acanthium

Also known as the Scotch Thistle. I've been keeping my eye on a small patch of these along one of my regular Cardington walks. I was waiting for a chance to do something a little different and the dramatic sky tonight provided the perfect opportunity.
