Crazy Horses

Evening everyone,

Blimey, its a Friday now, I've spent most of the week being a day ahead of myself and i woke up this morning convinced it was Thursday... i blame this hectic social life that i've got at the moment, i've nearly been out three times this month already....

Thats probably twice more than the whole of 2010.... i may need to employ an events manager soon, or invest in a diary..

Took a quick snap tonight of a group of horses who were having a rare old time rolling around in the dry dust bowl of a small field at the side of a fairly busy country road,

each time one of them lay down a car would hurtle past and startle them, causing them to start, leap up and then look around with a slightly indignant,slightly confused look on their faces..

From the other side of the road it looked like a looped film reel of horses playing dead... you'd see them fall over, then four hooves would stick up in the air (with a drystone wall obscuring all other views) then the legs would disappear and magically a huge horse would materialise again...and again... and again.....

lovely, made me chuckle, but couldn't really crop an action shot of vertical hooves with the settings i had the camera on.....

was quite pleased with myself as i've totally moved to manual setting on the camera and was explaining this to the current Mrs Richardson....

"Right, you mean anally retentive then do you...."

PFFT...... That was the sound of my pleased with myself bubble popping...

as my friends say often my wife has a way of just cutting straight through the bullshit!!
