Not a car engine.

I'd seen it before. An old car engine in the woods. A rusting skulking lump of metal with cogs and teeth, waiting.....
I had the shot in my mind, the angle, to be taken in glorious gritty black and white...
I planned to berate mankind's thoughtlessness which caused this ugly scar marring the beauty of the wood...
It was gone! Totally gone. Perhaps a slight oil smudge where it had once lain.
Berating curtailed.
