Some of my favourite things...

I love keeping things that have meaning. I don't keep stuff for the sake of it, in fact, if it's not been used for 6 months, it's bagged up and gone! But I love cards, and bits of pottery and paraphernalia that the kids have brought home over the years.

They don't tend to do that any more, but I've got footprints, hand prints, I love you's, Xmas fairies, butterflies, all the loveliness from Nursery and Primary School. All the things that remind me I'm a mother and I have raised two people and kept them warm and taught them to love and taught them values and fed them good food and cleaned up their sick and put plasters on their cuts and sat in A&E and read wonderful books like We're Going On A Bear Hunt and and and.... I love being a mum....I don't care how hard it is sometimes. It's an honour and a privilege and I love them both to bits!
