Gotcha!
Living in the woods means that the flora and fauna found here are wild...as in, sometimes (no...MOST times!) hard to capture!
While wandering about with my camera this morning, I watched as a little grey squirrel happily munched on an acorn atop a rusty sawmill my husband used before a spinal injury.
I poised the camera, ready to shoot, and the little squirrel looked at me and didn't budge. Highly irregular, I am thinking. I closed in on the little bugger and he sat there eating, ne'er a care in the world! Amazed at this little creature, I got quite close and he never was bothered in the least by my presence...
Hmm....do you think perhaps the squirrel is wise to the fact that *I* am the "hand that feeds" the sunflower seeds he finds dropped from the birdfeeder?
