Happy Cadburys Day everyone! Oooh the cynicism...

It's just a normal Sunday today, not even an egg in the house (although I might have a fried egg sandwich for lunch). Shift working for 8 years and a bout of devout atheism brought on in my teens has put paid to any 'celebrating'. Roll on the summer when you can go a few months without the shops force feeding you Christmas, Valentines, Easter, Mothers Day etc. (Just BBQs and garden furniture instead I suppose).

My abiding memory as a child though was Easter being the time of year when myself and my sister would get a new Marks and Spencer tracksuit. That was the true meaning of Easter to me...
