A bright wall on a grey day

Chose against a morning run when I heard the rain in the dark, and the thought of a warm bed for another 45 minutes won out. A cancellation late this afternoon meant I had time for a run in the daylight, fortuitously during one of the few periods when the rain more or less paused.

Nothing at longer distance was likely to be a possible blip today, and so I picked this route as I have been wanting to get a good pic of this wall for some time. I am unable to find out anything about the artist, or those who painted it on the wall. I have discovered that the painters who put the art on a wall, may not have created it. Often they are collectives.

This one replaces a previous more complicated mural, but it is more fun in my view. As a non artist, I see at least four distinct styles.

When we had our home (for 30 years) in one of the adjacent streets to this, this wall was drab, except for taggers' marks. This livens the environment, and is welcome to me.
