Drawing

So one of my classes is drawing and I had wanted to take an art class for a very long time. Even getting into this basic drawing class was ridiculously hard. We all went to the classroom and there was about 50 people there for a 20 person class because everyone wanted to add it. The teacher, thankfully, gave first priority to seniors, which meant that I was allowed to take the class. soon there was 30 of us left (it was really hard to see people get cut since I experienced that myself my fall quarter). I was especially sad because one of my friends was hoping to add, but she was only a sophomore so she didn't get in :(

For this assignment, we had to draw a contour line drawing of 5 pairs of shoes. I thought this meant 10 shoes in total when she only meant 5 shoes. I drew one attempt, scrapped it, and my second one was a lot better because I took my time.
