Charing Cross Walkway

I've seen this walkway over Villiers Street, next to Charing Cross station in London, so many and wondered what it was. Apparently it links two parts of the Charing Cross Hotel, which was built around the same time as it's more famous cousin, the Midland Hotel at St Pancras.

Anyway, a beautiful, whimsical piece of Victorian design...
