birthday girl......

it is a cliche but they do grow up too quickly. seven years have passed since i first held ma wee angel and i swear we only brought her home yesterday. it really isn't fair that we get such a short space of time to enjoy our kids just being kids. don't get me wrong i am loving watching baby McD grow and her personality develop and well basically every little evolution along the way but I do miss that toddler stage....walking and just starting to string words together (oh and the word "why" wasn't part of her vocabulary then).
anyway don't want to go on and be too sappy about it so to the light of my life and the reason I feel like the luckiest man alive i simply say........seven.


p.s. thanks to all those who commented on my 730th the other day. if you look back you will see that i should be on probably twice that by now but hey life happens and sometimes certain things take a back seat.
thanks again anyway and i hope to rejoin you all at some point.
