Birthday Invitations

I was expecting a letter from my eldest daughter today (who's away on a school trip for the week) but the postman brought nothing ! She's probably having such a super time that she's forgotten about us.

My youngest daughter will be celebrating her 10th birthday on Sunday. I have been scratching my head for days trying to think what I could get her. Eventually, I had an idea so I popped into town at lunchtime to buy a few things.

She is going to hand out her birthday invitations tomorrow. We will be taking some of her friends to London Zoo a week on Sunday. Here she is showing her invitation to her brother. Creating birthday invitations in our house is never a simple task. It involves a lot of drawing, messy painting, scanning and moving photoshoping.

My son had two exams today - physics and geography. He said the physics was easy but the geography was difficult. Tomorrow he has RE and English so not much revision tonight. I sent him upstairs to read his RS book and all I could here was 'this is so boring'. I'll be glad to see the end of the exams tomorrow.

My eldest daughter will return from her school trip tomorrow. Pick up is at 4:30pm and we'll head straight to France. A surprise weekend away for the birthday girl.
