Power Tour 2011

Ok so this isn't what you would expect to see in a car show, but that's right I did. MeMaw, Poppa and myself all went down to Western Ave. to see all the cars. There was rumor that there was going to be 5,000 cars in downtown Muskegon today and that a few celeb's would have cars there as well. Jay-Leno, Kid Rock, and Tim Allen were a few of the names out there. I could see Tim Allen having his car out there because his brother is a teacher at Reeths-Puffer High School.

The show is said to run from noon until 6:30 but they came in late because of rain so they might be staying out there longer. Then it is on to Detroit (Motor City) for the final stop on the tour.

I heard a few of the people say that they were from Florida and California, and Arizona, and New Mexico. The tour started in Florida and ends in Detroit tomorrow. I also heard a few people say that this was the best venue yet.

We did have a thunderstorm last night but I don't think it ever got to bad.
