Guard Dogs on the gates to Zeals House

As I child I was concerned that the dogs had to stand guard 24 hours a day so was told they came down to drink and eat at midnight. If I wanted to see them then I would have to stay awake - but of course I never could.
I am so sorry I haven't been commenting - daughter is on the mend, thank you to those who asked. She'll be non weight bearing on her foot for 6 weeks but seems to be coping well.
