Tremolo

Because there are props. There are always props. Carried this particular instrument around in my bag this afternoon after borrowing it from work. There's no on/off switch so each movement of my rucksack would set the damned thing off. I had headphones on for the most part so I was pretty oblivious to it, although when removing them at the supermarket checkout to pay for my purchases I could hear 'When The Saints Go Marching In' coming quite loudly from my bag.

I mentioned yesterday about being in the sixth form twenty five years ago and buying records and going to gigs. This continued all the way through my student days and, after graduating, I was signing on for quite a while, basically because I came out of university without a clue about what to do with the rest of my life. And I lived pretty cheaply in those days, didn't really drink a lot, no major vices to suck up my meagre income and I always managed to find a little each week for one or two pieces of vinyl. And, obviously, being the devotee I was, I was always there on the day of release for my weekly selection. One Monday I bought the new 12" EP by one of my favourites. It had four tracks, this is one of them.
