Poppy

Or to be more accurate, Patty's Plum, perhaps! We have this one in the front garden, and another in the back. Both were sold to us as Patty's Plum, but the other one is much more of a dusky purple, more a Biba type purple, if anyone else can recall that from the 70s!

I love poppies, all types and varieties, and we are lucky enough to have soil which seems to suit them, so we have managed to swap, beg, barter and buy lots of different ones!

Still struggling with my chest infection, second course of antibiotics now . . . . It's exhausting but more annoying than painful.
