Emergency bird blip

Working from home today - I had planned to go out and take a few more thatched cottage photos as we have lots near us. The rain and hailstones put me off though!

I did take a few snaps of the birds as they had a mad half hour at the bird table first thing this morning but they really were snaps - taken through the window too. So in fact, I'm not too unhappy with this one. i think it is a young thrush but no doubt one of my expert birding friends will let me know!

I'm really enjoying all the birds visiting the garden now they have got used to the fact that we have food out for them - keep having to restock though, a box of buggy fat balls from the RSPB arrived today, just in time!
