Forth Road Bridge

In the last couple of weeks there have been two items that have pushed my photography forward and I used both of them this evening. I have already talked about the Heliopan filter which adds 10 stops to the exposure so you get the movement of clouds and the blurring of water. The other tool that has boosted the output is Nik Software's HDR EFex Pro and Silver Efex Pro which make the manipulation of images far easier and quicker than using photoshop layers and masks.

The weather really helped as well, I managed to capture 15 minutes of light in between rain showers so the water was still resting on the rocks adding that little shine which really brings out the foreground interest of the shot.
