1. Another early start, this time to Edinburgh for the tech day. We run late, of course, which is my fault but we get there in the end for what turns out to be another good session.

2. And on to Livingston which starts with an exceptionally good lunch. I've had a coffee here before and blipped about it, so they are obviously doing something right for me to chart so well.

3. Having discovered that we left the lovely Howden bistro without paying, I make a very embarrassing phone call to apologise and square up. None of us realised - three dafties.

4. I have a quiet night on my own which I fill with blts and shiraz although I avoid the Xtreme hot sauce. This is what I bought from the wee deli place in Aviemore on Saturday. When Colin tasted a drop on his finger it made him gasp, convulse, choke and then hiccup for 10 minutes. He was more interested than disturbed by those symptoms. I however, have assessed that my head would explode if I went any closer than this.

5. Eric Satie is composer of the week on the radio which leads to a rather sad - yet beautiful - chain.
